It all started with a dream.
Giving every child a place to call home.
On 16 August 2024 Lidya and Maddalena realised their dream of opening a centre in Misungwi, Tanzania, providing a safe and secure home for orphaned children.
The project began with a vision to provide a home for up to 50 orphaned children and the doors opened to the orphanage in August 2024.
We proudly celebrated the official opening of the orphanage and the successful registration of our NGO, marking a significant milestone in our mission to bring hope and opportunity to vulnerable children.
The facility includes two dormitories for the children, as well as accommodations for volunteers and staff, ensuring a nurturing and supportive environment.
The next phase for the Centre was the construction of a pre-school, providing a dedicated learning space for orphanage children and extending access to a quality English education for underprivileged kids from surrounding villages.
With the help of a devoted team and kind-hearted supporters, we are committed to creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can grow, learn, and build a brighter future.
